Renting Information

Renter must have valid driver's license and major credit card, and be between the ages of 25-79. See surcharge for renting drivers aged 23 and 24. Budget accepts Debit cards with the Visa and MasterCard logo, Insurance and prepaid gas is mandatory with Debit Cards (Corporate debit cards with Visa logo are exempt). Minimum hold on Debit cards $500. Hold is based on length of rental. Vehicle make is as shown or an equivalent. All major credit cards accepted.

Internet bookings must be 24 hours in advance of rental in summer season, 48 hours in advance of rental in winter season. In Winter Season, convertibles, vans, and other specialty vehicles must be reserved 5 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy: 72 hours in advance on all cars (except convertibles); 5 days on CONVERTIBLES, SUV'S, JEEPS WRANGLERS, VANS. FAILURE TO CANCEL WILL RESULT IN A ONE DAY CHARGE.

Budget strives to maintain a 100% Smoke-Free fleet. To help ensure that our cars look and smell fresh, we ask all our customers to refrain from any type of smoking in Budget vehicles.

Rohlsen Airport, Christiansted across from Seaplane, Cruise Pier (in Frederiksted, only on ship arrival days) Specify your pick up location when making your reservation.

Airport Hours vary seasonally based on flight arrival times. Budget at Rohlsen Airport Hours of Operation: 7:00AM – until last flight (Please call if your flight is delayed.)
